Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the activities and content that are prohibited when using GoNexel services. It applies to all clients, users, and third parties who access or use our services, platforms, or infrastructure.

2. Prohibited Activities

2.1 Illegal Activities

• Activities that violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive business practices
• Money laundering, terror financing, or financial crimes
• Distribution or sale of controlled substances
• Human trafficking, exploitation, or child abuse material

2.2 Cybersecurity Violations

• Hacking, cracking, or unauthorised access to systems
• Distribution of malware, viruses, ransomware, or spyware
• DDoS attacks or any form of denial-of-service attack
• Port scanning, vulnerability probing, or network exploitation
• Interception or monitoring of data without authorisation
• Social engineering or phishing attacks

2.3 Intellectual Property Violations

• Software piracy or distribution of unlicensed software
• Copyright infringement (content, code, images, music, video)
• Trademark infringement or passing off
• Circumventing DRM or technological protection measures

2.4 Spam & Unsolicited Communications

• Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam)
• SMS/messaging spam
• Fake reviews or fraudulent testimonials
• Comment spam, forum abuse, or automated posting

2.5 Harassment & Harmful Content

• Cyberbullying, stalking, or threats
• Hate speech, discriminatory content, or incitement to violence
• Doxxing or publishing private personal information
• Defamation, libel, or slander

3. Content Restrictions

Clients are responsible for ensuring all content hosted through GoNexel services is lawful and appropriate. Prohibited content includes:

• Adult or sexually explicit content (unless explicitly agreed in writing)
• Gambling or betting platforms (where prohibited by law)
• Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or Ponzi schemes
• Violent or graphic content intended to shock or disturb
• Content promoting self-harm or dangerous activities
• Fraudulent or misleading product/service claims

4. Resource Usage Limits

Clients whose usage significantly exceeds plan limits will be contacted and given the option to upgrade. Persistent abuse without upgrade may result in service restriction.

5. Security Standards

Clients are required to:

• Maintain strong, unique passwords and enable 2FA where available
• Keep software, plugins, and dependencies up to date
• Not share access credentials with unauthorised parties
• Immediately report suspected security breaches to GoNexel
• Follow secure coding practices for custom integrations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately:

• Response Time: Within 24 hours
• Confidentiality: Reporter identity is kept confidential
• Protection: Good-faith reporters are protected from retaliation
